The variety possesses high growth vigor and resistance to the disease cypress canker (Seiridium cardinale). It is characterized by dense vegetation and a broad-shaped crown, which distinguishes it from narrow-columnar ornamental varieties. The plant is adapted to Mediterranean climatic conditions and various soil types.

The primary purpose of the variety includes the creation of windbreaks, hedges, and noise barriers. Due to the dark green color of the needles and dense foliage, the variety is used in landscape design for both individual and group plantings.
