This variety is a selection clone used in commercial horticulture exclusively as a rootstock for grafting pear varieties. It is not intended for the production of quince fruit as a food crop.
The rootstock belongs to the dwarfing group, contributing to the formation of compact trees. During agronomic trials, the variety demonstrated high productivity of grafted plants and resistance to frost damage of the bark compared to a number of traditional quince rootstocks.
