The plant is vigorous, energetically developing, with long and wide spineless petioles, which facilitates harvesting and processing. The variety has a developed root system, requiring deep soils, and high frost resistance.
Leaf petioles are consumed as food. To obtain high-quality produce, blanching is performed 20–30 days before harvest by hilling up or covering plants with light-impermeable materials. The yield of the variety in comparative trials reaches 68.2 t/ha.
