Heads of the Madrigal variety have a diameter of 11–13 cm and a weight of 200–400 g. The color is light green, with a purple tint at the base of the bracts, which disappears upon ripening. The pulp of the fruits is tender; bracts are numerous, tightly pressed against each other, and without thorns.

The plant is late-maturing, characterized by uniform ripening and resistance to lodging. The hybrid is suitable for the food and nutraceutical industries due to its high content of phenolic compounds. The crop was developed for professional production in regions with a mild climate.
