The variety has a semi-erect or erect growth habit and is characterized by moderate summer dormancy. The plant effectively utilizes summer rainfall and demonstrates better tolerance on acidic soils compared to a number of other varieties.
The productivity of the variety is higher than that of the Currie variety, especially in the autumn-winter period. The variety is intended for the establishment of long-term pasture stands and hay meadows, providing a good forage base for cattle and horses.
