The Phyllox variety is a perennial loose-bunch grass intended for forage production, including hay and pasture use. It is characterized by rapid regrowth after mowing and the ability to form high green mass.

In agrotechnical studies, the variety was considered in the context of forage grass trials, as well as the assessment of resistance to fungal diseases, in particular to Pseudocercosporella herpotrichoides.
