The variety was selected from an ecotype growing in the foothills of Veneto. The plant belongs to a medium-high type. The variety possesses lodging resistance, as well as high adaptability both to cool climates and to moisture deficit and high temperatures.
The variety is characterized by productivity and yield stability, and is suitable for silage production. It is intended for the establishment of long-term pastures and hayfields and is often used in grass mixtures. Available in a version for organic farming.
