The variety belongs to the early-maturing category. According to trial results, it possesses broad leaves and a low tendency to form inflorescences before the vernalization period. With late mowing, the variety can accumulate crude fiber faster, which leads to a loss of forage quality.
It is used as a forage crop for inclusion in grass mixtures for pastures and meadows. It has a long history of cultivation and is included in a number of European recommendations for the sowing of perennial grasses.
