ActiveDactylis glomerata L. · Cocksfoot

10 August 2026
The variety has a historical connection to the breeding school of the town of Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. In literature, the name "Roznovska" is applied to both orchard grass (Dactylis glomerata) and meadow fescue (Festuca pratensis), which requires botanical clarification when identifying crops.
In agronomic studies of orchard grass, the "Roznovska" variety is characterized as susceptible to Puccinia coronata rust. In comparative trials of green mass yield, the variety's indicators are often inferior to modern breeding populations.
