The Orfeo dahlia variety belongs to the cactus type. The plant is characterized by large flowers with a diameter of 10 to 20 cm, which have twisted, pointed petals. The color of the inflorescences varies from cherry-red to purple-red or fuchsia.

The bush height is usually 100 to 120 cm. The variety is intended for decorative purposes and is suitable for cutting due to good vase life. Flowering lasts from July or August until the first frosts.

The plant prefers sunny, wind-protected areas with fertile and well-drained soil. The variety is not winter-hardy and requires mandatory tuber excavation for the winter period.
