The plant is a densely branched shrub with a rounded crown shape, reaching a height and width of 80–100 cm. The leaves are leathery, dark green, with a characteristic yellow or cream margin; they are smaller than those of the original variety.
Flowering occurs in February – March. The buds have a dark pink hue; fully opened flowers vary from purple-pink on the outside to light pink or white on the inside. The variety requires well-drained, humus-rich, and moist soil; it is sensitive to waterlogging and transplanting.
The plant has winter hardiness down to -10°C and prefers sunny or semi-shaded locations protected from the wind. All parts of the shrub are poisonous and can cause skin irritation.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
