The variety is late-maturing, with a growing season lasting from 130 to 150 days. The roots have an elongated, nearly cylindrical shape with a conical taper, reaching a length of 18–25 cm. A characteristic feature is the bright yellow color of the flesh, while the upper part of the root is prone to greening during maturation.

The plant is undemanding and adapts well to various soil types, including heavy clay soils. The variety has good keeping quality during storage. Originally classified as a fodder variety, it is widely used in culinary applications for soups, salads, and purees due to its tender and sweet flesh.
