Variety description

The plant belongs to the alpine dianthus group. Forms evergreen clumps consisting of narrow leaves of a silvery-gray shade. The flowers are pure white, double, and possess a fragrance characteristic of the culture.

Flowering is abundant, continuing from late spring to late summer; repeat budding is possible if faded flowers are removed. The variety is winter-hardy, moderately drought-tolerant, and prefers well-drained soils with a neutral or alkaline reaction and full sun exposure.

This plant is susceptible to diseases standard for the genus, such as powdery mildew, rust, and Fusarium, as well as damage by aphids and slugs. The variety is recommended for use in containers, rockeries, and alpine gardens.
