The Devon Flavia variety (commercial name Candy Floss) is a perennial evergreen plant. The bush is characterized by a compact habit and medium or sparse density.

The flowers are double, with tiered ruffled petals, and possess a pronounced fragrance. The foliage has a characteristic glaucous (grey-blue) coloration.

The plant is distinguished by prolonged and abundant flowering. The variety is winter hardy, withstands temperature drops down to -15°C, and is drought resistant.
