The plant forms a compact branched bush 15–23 cm in height with stiff upright stems and narrow linear foliage of a glaucous shade. The variety is intended for landscaping, including borders, rock gardens, and container cultivation.

Flowering begins in late spring and early summer. With proper care and deadheading, reblooming is possible in late summer or autumn. The plant is winter hardy (USDA zones 5–9), drought-tolerant, and capable of tolerating saline soils.
