Variety description

The plant is a compact, cushion-shaped bush 20–35 cm in height and up to 45 cm in width. The leaves are narrow, lanceolate, and have a glaucous-green color due to a waxy coating. The flowers are double, purple-pink in color, with characteristic fringed petal edges and a sweet, spicy aroma.

Flowering lasts from May to August. The variety is winter hardy (zones 4–9), drought tolerant, but requires well-drained soils and does not tolerate waterlogging. It is used in landscape design for borders and rock gardens, as well as for container cultivation.
