The Sierra garden carnation belongs to the remontant (pf) types. The plant has bluish-tinted leaves and flowers about 76 mm in diameter. The petals have irregularly serrated edges.
The color of the flower varies from light orange to orange-yellow, with the edges of the petals colored bright red. Bright red spots may be present on individual petals. This variety lacks fragrance.
