The Harkstead Apricot variety belongs to the hybrid taxon Digitalis ×valinii and is often included in the Illumination series. The plant is the result of crossing Digitalis purpurea and Digitalis canariensis.
The plant is intended for ornamental gardening and is distinguished by showy tubular flowers of an apricot-pink shade on tall flower stalks. Like all representatives of the Digitalis genus, this hybrid is poisonous due to the content of cardiac glycosides.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
