Variety description

The plant forms a basal rosette of glossy dark green leaves and upright flower stalks 90–120 cm tall. Bell-shaped flowers have a copper-yellow hue with a brown-cinnamon reticulation or spots inside and outside the corolla.
The variety is a perennial and is characterized by remontancy, providing flowering from May to September-October. Plant sterility excludes self-seeding and contributes to the extension of the flowering period. The variety is relatively winter-hardy, withstanding temperatures down to -20...-29°C.
The plant is used in decorative gardening for mixed borders and plantings along woodland areas; the inflorescences are suitable for cutting. Like other members of the genus Digitalis, the plant is highly toxic if ingested.
