Variety description

The variety is a hybrid of Diospyros virginiana and Diospyros kaki. The tree is of medium vigor, reaching 5 meters in height, and has a rounded, spreading crown. It is self-fertile, forming both female and male flowers, which allows it to be used for pollinating other varieties.

Fruits are large, weighing from 190 to 250 g (sometimes up to 270 g), of oblate, slightly square shape, with yellow flesh. The ripening period falls between the beginning of October and the beginning of November; fruits are suitable for long-term storage until mid-January.

The variety possesses high winter hardiness, withstanding temperature drops down to -23...-25°C, and is characterized by resistance to diseases and pests. Yield is high: depending on the age of the tree and growing conditions, the indicators can vary significantly.
