Variety description

The variety is a hybrid form of persimmon obtained as a result of crossing Diospyros kaki and Diospyros virginiana species. The deciduous tree reaches a height of 4–5 meters and has a rounded crown with a diameter of about 3 meters. The onset of fruiting occurs in the 2nd–4th year after planting.

Fruits ripen in late October – early November, have a rounded or oblate-rounded shape and an orange-red color. Fruit weight ranges from 200 to 280 g, in individual cases up to 300–350 g. The flesh is sweet, juicy, with a pronounced aroma and no astringency. The keeping quality of the fruits lasts until February.

The variety possesses a high stable yield, reaching 60–80 kg per tree, and is distinguished by high resistance to persimmon diseases. Winter hardiness is -24...-25 °C, while for young seedlings aged up to 3–4 years, winter protection is recommended.
