The variety is late-maturing. The growing season in the first year of life is 170–175 days, and in the second year is 200–205 days. The period from the beginning of regrowth to flowering lasts about 110 days, and flowering itself lasts about 30 days.

The plant possesses high aerial biomass yield and drought tolerance. Seeds ripen within a month after flowering, the thousand kernel weight is 4.0–4.3 g, and seed shattering is absent. The variety is used as a medicinal crop for the production of phytopreparations and as a feed additive.
