The variety was created as a result of adapting an introduced population of Echinacea to the conditions of Romania. The plant is used for medical purposes due to its immunostimulating and antiviral properties.

In the first year of life, the variety forms a leaf rosette; flowering for raw material harvesting begins from the second year. The genotype is characterized by a high content of phenylpropane derivatives and immunostimulating polysaccharides, as well as early maturity under the conditions of Cluj-Napoca.
