Variety description

The variety is the result of hybridization between Echinacea purpurea and Echinacea paradoxa. The plant forms large inflorescences 10–15 cm in diameter with golden-yellow petals, which may curve downward as they fade, and a copper-orange cone.
The height of mature specimens is 60–90 cm. The variety possesses sturdy stems, is distinguished by high winter hardiness down to -28...-35 °C and resistance to major diseases. It is used in flower beds, mixed borders, and for cutting, maintaining its decorative quality in a vase for up to 7–10 days.
