Variety description

The variety is a hybrid of Epimedium flavum and Epimedium ogisui. The plant reaches a height of 15–45 cm and forms evergreen or semi-evergreen foliage, which may have a bronze tint in spring and later turns dark green.
The flowers are pale yellow with a greenish cast, sometimes with a pinkish tint on the outer petals towards the end of flowering, and are clustered in dense arched inflorescences. Flowering begins in spring, often before the emergence of new leaves.
The plant is used in landscape design as a ground cover for shaded sites and plantings under trees. The variety prefers partial shade or shade and well-drained fertile soils, shows tolerance to dry shade, but requires protection from moisture stagnation in winter.
