Variety description

The plant is a compact evergreen shrub reaching 20–30 cm in height. The foliage is typical for the species, needle-like, and of a rich dark green color. The small flowers are bell-shaped and pink or pink-purple in color.
The variety is used as an ornamental flowering pot crop for autumn decoration of interiors and outdoor areas. The plant is not winter hardy and requires control of soil moisture levels, tolerating neither drying out nor excessive water stagnation.
