The variety Sunshine is a potted decorative crop. In an agronomic sense, detailed characteristics for height or resistance are absent for it, as these parameters are not standard for indoor succulents.

In scientific publications, the variety was used in experiments on the transmission of phytoplasma from Poinsettia to Euphorbia milii. The variety should be distinguished from other breeding forms containing the word Sunshine in their name, which are independent plants.
