The variety belongs to the soft-leaved type of tall fescue, which provides increased nutritional value of the forage. The plant exhibits a semi-dormant state during cold winter periods and demonstrates active growth under moist summer conditions.

The primary purpose of the variety is for use as a pasture crop. Animal productivity indicators when using this variety are comparable to results when grazing on perennial ryegrass.
