The variety is a synthetic generation derived from breeding material from the northeastern regions of the USA. Unlike pasture varieties, it is characterized by a finer leaf texture and vigorous growth, forming a dense and attractive turf.
The plant adapts well to lighting conditions, developing successfully both in sun and partial shade. Studies show that the variety possesses a specific water balance: despite a relatively high level of evapotranspiration, it shows no signs of wilting under drought conditions.
In agronomic literature, the variety is classified as one of the early examples of Festuca arundinacea breeding oriented toward ornamental turf use. In professional trials, it is often used as a reference sample among medium-textured varieties.
