The variety TUL'SA (Tulsa II) is a turf-type tall fescue. In scientific literature, it is used as an object for the analysis of quality characteristics, such as shoot density, leaf texture, and disease resistance.

The variety is also a subject of research for studying pest resistance, in particular to the fall armyworm Spodoptera frugiperda.
