The variety is synthetic and formed on the basis of five local and foreign parental forms. The development of the variety was carried out within the framework of programs for creating plants with high biomass productivity, resistant to drought and low temperatures.

The purpose of the variety includes use as a forage crop for animals and for the seeding of degraded lands. Detailed morphological characteristics, such as plant height or precise indicators of resistance to pathogens, are absent in open publications.
