The variety is synthetic, bred from the maternal progeny of 26 clones using two additional paternal lines. The pedigree of the plants originates from selected old populations, with at least nine maternal clones containing the fungal endophyte Neotyphodium coenophialum.
Externally, the variety is characterized by a dark green color and an open crown type. It is created to form high-quality turf cover with improved density and leaf texture. The plant possesses resistance to a number of common tall fescue diseases and is suitable for use in seed mixtures, including for roadside landscaping.
