The variety is intended for the establishment of hayfields and pastures and is often used as part of grass mixtures. In German forage grass variety trials, it is classified as a medium-early to medium-late variety.
As a representative of the meadow fescue species, the variety is a perennial bunchgrass. It possesses high winter hardiness, the ability for rapid regrowth after mowing, and is well-adapted to fertile soils and moderately moist conditions.
