The variety belongs to the lawn grass group and is characterized by winter hardiness and the ability to form a dense turf. Due to its biological properties, it has traditionally been included in universal, shade-tolerant mixtures for parks, gardens, and public recreation areas.
In experimental studies, the variety was also considered in the context of phytoremediation for cleaning soils of heavy metals. Studies noted the low aesthetic quality of the variety compared to modern analogs, which limits its use in parterre lawns.
