According to specialized scientific publications, the name «Menchulska» is assigned to a variety of Festuca orientalis. In a number of studies conducted in the western region of Ukraine, this variety is mentioned in the context of the study of forage grasses.
In the same experiments, the «Hoverla» variety is considered as a variety of Festuca rubra. Economic and morphological characteristics of the «Menchulska» variety in relation to Festuca rubra are absent in the literature, as this is not reliable information.
