The variety belongs to the creeping red fescue subspecies (Festuca rubra rubra). The plant has a semi-erect habit and thin leaves of medium or dark green color. The variety is characterized by slow growth in the year of sowing and relatively weak regrowth after mowing.
The plant possesses good drought tolerance, high resistance to trampling and frequent mowing, as well as shade tolerance. It has high resistance to diseases. Thanks to its developed rhizome system, the variety effectively fills gaps in the turf.
It is used for creating ornamental and park lawns, as well as in pasture and hay grass mixtures. The recommended seeding rate is about 25 kg/ha with a seed sowing depth of 1–2 cm. The sowing period covers the time from March to August.
