The variety Suzette red fescue belongs to the subspecies Festuca rubra ssp. trichophylla. It is a turf variety that is distinguished by a high stand density, which contributes to the creation of high-quality cover, and is characterized by the presence of short stolons.
The variety possesses pronounced tolerance to salt exposure and drought conditions. In seed production, to achieve maximum seed yield, the variety is recommended to be used in a four-year cycle. Due to its properties, it is widely used in professional turf grass mixtures.
