The cultivar was used as a standard control sample during state trials of red fescue varieties in the 1970s–1980s. It also appeared as seed material for the creation of turf covers and landscaping.
In trial documentation, the cultivar was characterized as medium-early in terms of spring growth rate and late in terms of heading time. Detailed morphological characteristics and data on disease resistance are absent in open publications.
