The variety is used for establishing lawn cover and is often included in seed mixtures for golf courses and areas with limited irrigation. It forms dense turf and maintains competitiveness in arid conditions with moderate nitrogen nutrition.

The plant possesses high drought resistance and low susceptibility to red thread disease. The variety is low-growing and adapted to regular mowing conditions; it is not intended for use as a forage crop.
