Variety description

Jana variety was obtained by crossing Biljart and Mecklenburger varieties. The plant forms dense sods, is characterized by medium-wide or narrow leaves and late vegetation periods.

The variety demonstrates smooth spring regrowth and good regeneration after mowing. Inflorescence heading is limited to the first cut, while the variety maintains high resistance to fungal diseases in the aftermath.

Jana is a universal variety with reduced requirements for nitrogen fertilizers. It is recommended for inclusion in long-term and short-term grass mixtures for pastures and meadows.
