The Minimus variety is intended for creating environmentally sustainable turf covers in parks, lawns, and secondary sports fields. It possesses high adaptability, requiring reduced fertilization, limited irrigation, and infrequent mowing.
The plant exhibits good resistance to drought and shading. In breeding programs, the variety was considered a promising specimen with increased tolerance to the herbicide mesotrione. Stand height is regulated by maintenance practices; the variety is capable of withstanding mowing to 1.2–1.5 cm or complete absence of mowing.
