The variety is a low-growing herbaceous plant 10–15 cm in height. The leaves are small, elongated-elliptical or oval in shape, with pointed tips. A distinctive morphological feature is the pronounced wavy leaf margins.

The plant is used as a pot culture for interior landscaping, as well as for creating compositions in terrariums and vivariums. It prefers diffused light, high air humidity, and moderate watering, while being sensitive to disruptions in the water regime.
