Variety description

The variety is an herbaceous plant, which is valued for the decorative qualities of its foliage. The leaves have a characteristic reticulate pattern of bright veins on a dark background; the surface texture is described as parchment-like or stiff. The height of the plant varies from 7 to 30 cm.

The plant requires high humidity and stable warmth. With insufficient watering, it quickly loses turgor and wilts. Due to its compact size, the variety is popular as a houseplant for keeping in confined spaces.
