The name «Tiger» is applied to a number of commercial Fittonia clones distinguished by their venation pattern. The plant is low-growing, reaching a height of 10–15 cm and is capable of spreading laterally. Leaves are opposite, the coloration is characterized by a bright white or contrasting reticulate pattern on a dark green background.

The plant is used as an ornamental foliage plant, suitable for terrariums, floral displays, and pot cultivation. The variety is sensitive to soil desiccation, low temperatures, and dry air. Propagated by cuttings to maintain varietal characteristics.
