The variety forms a compact, white, and aromatic bulb-like base with a delicate sweetish taste and an aniseed note. The plant, 60–90 cm in height, forms thin feathery leaves. The period from sowing to bulb harvest is 80–100 days; harvesting of greens is possible in 50–70 days.

The plant is hardy and adapts to various soil types provided there is good drainage. To obtain high-quality bulbs, hilling of the base during growth is recommended; the optimal planting distance is 25–45 cm.

The variety is versatile in use: the bulbs are consumed fresh, stewed, or baked, and the leaves are used as a spicy aromatic additive.
