The variety is early-maturing; the period from sowing to harvest is 80–90 days. The plant reaches a height of about 60 cm and is characterized by vigorous growth. It forms large, dense, fleshy bulbs of round-flat shape with a white interior.
The produce has a crisp texture and a sweetish taste with an anise aroma. The plant is demanding of regular watering to prevent bolting and is capable of withstanding brief frosts down to -5°C. The variety is intended for summer-autumn cultivation and culinary use in fresh and thermally processed form.
