Henk Driessen
10 August 2026
The variety belongs to Florence fennel, the growing season is 70–75 days; when grown as "baby fennel," harvest is possible after 50–55 days. Plant height reaches 150–200 cm.
It forms a rounded bulb weighing 350–400 g. The variety is cold-hardy, but sensitive to moisture deficiency, temperature fluctuations, and day length, which makes it prone to premature bolting.
Intended for fresh consumption, stewing, and preparation of side dishes; leaves and seeds can be used as a spice.
