The mature shrub reaches a height of 1 to 2 meters and has a spreading shrub form, although young plants may exhibit an upright habit. The flowers of this variety are of the “pin-eyed” type.
During commercial use, the variety exhibited genetic instability, a tendency towards chimerism, and reversion to original characteristics during rapid propagation. The plant is used in ornamental gardening, with growth that can vary from groundcover to upright.
