Deciduous shrub characterized by vertically growing branches, which become spreading over time. The egg-shaped leaves have a serrated edge and green color; in autumn, they can acquire a yellow or purple tint. The growth of the plant is fast.
Flowering occurs in March–April; large flowers of a saturated bright yellow color densely cover the bare shoots. The variety is considered winter hardy, withstands temperatures down to -23°C and lower, but can be susceptible to gall disease. Prefers sunny locations and fertile drained soils.
