In the Statens Forsøgsstation reports of 1975–1976, the variety «Rubina» is described as early-maturing and suitable for various types of industrial processing, including freezing and canning.
Data on morphological traits, such as plant height or disease resistance, are not provided in modern agronomic reference books. The name «Rubina» in Danish state documentation was also assigned to other crops, for example, red fescue, and the varieties «Рубин» and «Ruby Ann» existing on the market are not related to this variety.
